EDMC sanitary inspector suspended for dereliction of duty

New Delhi, Aug 20 (PTI) A sanitary inspector has beensuspended for dereliction of duty after garbage was foundspread outside a ‘dhalao’ during a recent inspection by EastDelhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) authorities. V S Yadav, sanitary inspector of ward no. 244, has beenplaced under suspension with immediate effect for derelictionof duty, EDMC said. Deputy Commissioner of Shahdara (North) Zone conducted aninspection of Sunder Nagri area in east Delhi’s Shahdara a fewdays ago and suspended him after monitoring the condition inhis area, East Delhi Mayor Satya Sharma said. "During inspection of the area, garbage was found spreadoutside a ‘dhalao’. The attendant of the ‘dhalao’ was notpresent during the inspection," EDMC said. PTI KNDSMN
