20-yr-old girl stabbed by man in outer Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 4 (PTI) A 20-year-old girl was allegedlystabbed by a man who had been stalking her for a long time inouter Delhi’s Vijay Vihar area, police said today. The girl was going to the market along with her sisterwhen Naveen Malik stabbed her, a senior police officer said,adding the accused had come with the intention to kill her butshe thwarted his attempt and escaped. Naveen was later arrested from the area, he said. He was unemployed and used to stalk girls and stayed as atenant in the victim’s house around one-and-a-half-year ago,the officer said.
