Bad weather forces SpiceJet to cancel flight

Chennai, Sept 6 (PTI) Seventy five passengers were put tohardship after budget air carrier SpiceJet cancelled itsflight from here to Port Blair at the last minute due to badweather. Airport officials said the flight, scheduled to leaveChennai this afternoon, was cancelled at the last minute dueto heavy rainfall in Port Blair. The passengers were thenrequested to come tomorrow, they said. Meanwhile, SpiceJet in its micro-blogging site, cautionedpassengers about flight operations getting affected due to badweather in Port Blair. "Due to bad weather in Port Blair, all departures andarrivals and their consequential flights may get affected",SpiceJet said.
