NAM summit calls for decisive action on terror

From Asim Kamal Porlamar (Venezuela), Sep 17 (PTI) Condemning terrorism inall its forms and manifestations, the final draft declarationof the 17th NAM summit today strongly pitched for decisive andcoordinated action to prevent and combat the financing andillicit transfer of weapons. The NAM countries also reaffirmed that terrorism andviolent extremism as and when conducive to terrorism cannotand should not be associated with any religion or nationality. They also recognised the threat posed by the scourge ofterrorism, particularly the activities carried out byterrorist groups such as the Taliban, al-Qaeda, ISIS andaffiliated entities. MORE PTI PYKKUN
