‘Go Goa Gone’ sequel may happen next year: Vir Das

Mumbai, Sep 20 (PTI) Actor Vir Das says a sequel tohis zombie comedy film "Go Goa Gone" might happen next year. "Go Goa Gone" was a 2013 zombie thriller featuringSaif Ali Khan along with Kunal Khemu, Das and Puja Gupta.Post the success of the film, there were talks about a sequelwith aliens as the backdrop. "There are talks about the sequel, ideas are floatingaround. If it has to start then it has to be soon. I think ifit happens it will happen next year," Vir told PTI. "Go Goa Gone" was the story of three friends who,while in Goa, decide to visit an isolated island for a raveparty. But next morning, they find themselves stranded andalso surrounded by flesh-eating zombies. Co-directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D K, the movieproduced by Saif. Besides, there was buzz about the sequel of Aamir Khanproduced film "Delhi Belly" that had Imran Khan, Vir, KunalRoy Kapur, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala. "I don’t know about ‘Delhi Belly’ sequel. I am notprivy to these talks. It would be great to be a part of thesequels of two nice films – ‘Go Goa Gone’ and ‘Delhi Belly’.Hopefully, sequels to both the films will be made sometime inmy career," Vir said. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the black comedy film wasgiven an ‘A’ certificate. Meanwhile, Vir is looking forward to the release ofhis next film "31st October", opposite Soha Ali Khan. Directed by Shivaji Lotan Patil, the film, set torelease on October 7, is the story of how a family fightsagainst the odds to survive the carnage inflicted on Sikhs in1984. PTI KKP GKSHDRYS
