German Foreign Minister meets PM Modi to bolster strategic ties

New Delhi: German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday as the two countries look to build on their strategic ties. Steinmeier also met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Steinmeier arrived on Saturday for a three-day visit aimed at improving cooperation in technology, trade and defence between the two nations. He is accompanied by a high-profile delegation of German members of Parliament, businessmen as well as representatives from the cultural sector.
