Government won’t let you down: CM Kejriwal on missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had assured the family of missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmad that the government would “leave no stone unturned” in finding him.

Najeeb’s family, and representatives of the JNU Students’ Union (JNUSU) met the CM at his residence and asked him to intervene in the matter, on Monday.

“I am with you and will do whatever is required to help trace him. It’s a serious matter and the government will not let you down. It will use all its resources available to help you out,” Kejriwal told Najeeb’s family.

“We urge you to ensure that persecution, disappearance, humiliation or any kind of discrimination against any student in any campus is speedily addressed and justice done. We request you to immediately intervene in this matter and ensure speedy justice so that no violation of constitutional rights takes place,” the memorandum submitted to the CM, read.
