Ram Gopal Yadav sacking revoked by Samajwadi Party

Date:

Day after Samajwad Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav slammed the government in Rajya Sabha over demonetisation,  which featured a warning for the government that he could face the ‘revenge of the rolling pin’, the Member of Parliament has been backed by the party.

A Samajwadi statement said on Wednesday that Ram Gopal Yadav’s sacking has been revoked by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

Yadav was expelled from the party for six years last month in the middle of a severe crisis within the Yadav family, which pitted Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav against his father Mulayam and uncle Shivpal Yadav months ahead of elections in the state.

After his expulsion, Ram Gopal Yadav also said bitterly that “Mulayam Singh Yadav seems to be jealous of his son’s success.”
