Farmer suicide haunts UP

Muzaffarnagar: A 40-year-old farmer allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison as he was unable to repay his loan, said police on Saturday. Anwar took the extreme step on Friday at Patoli village under Bhopa police station in the district, they said, adding he had taken loan from a villager and he was unable to repay it.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead, they said.
