Akshay Kumar stars as Gulshan Kumar in his biopic ‘Mogul’

Akshay Kumar shared the first poster of his upcoming film Mogul on Wednesday and its grand. The poster features a silhouette of the 49-year-old actor as Gulshan Kumar:

This movie is based on producer Gulshan Kumar, stars Akshay as the protagonist. Apart from sharing the poster on Twitter, Akshay wrote:

“My association with Him began with my very first film. He was The Emperor Of Music! Now know His story… #Mogul, The Gulshan Kumar story!”

Gulshan Kumar, founder of T-Series, was shot dead in Mumbai in 1997. His biopic is being directed by Subhash Kapoor, who also directed Akshay in Jolly LLB 2, which released in February.

The Gulshan Kumar biopic will release in 2018.
