A 17-year-old school student, Anubhav Wadhwa from Gurugram has made it to the first edition of the Youth Solutions report of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network for his startup, Tyrelessly which recycles used tyres to produce bio-fuel and other by-products.

The Youth Solutions report is UN’s endeavour to showcase some extraordinary work done by the young people all around the world and give them the opportunity to draw the interest from potential supporters. The first edition of the report identifies 50 youth-led projects aiming to solve environmental issues.
Tyrelessly will feature in the report selected by an expert advisory panel led by Jeffrey Sachs, an American economist and director at The Earth Institute, Columbia University.

“Youngsters are contributing to sustainable development but they face challenges that prevent them from realising their full potential. These challenges include the lack of visibility, limited access to finance, and the lack of training and technical support,” said Siamak Sam Loni, Global Coordinator of SDSN Youth.
