14 Odisha district collectors changed

The Odisha governmentOdisha government on Friday effected a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy by assigning new postings to 14 IAS officers and four senior OAS officers. In the reshuffle, 2012 batch IAS officer Vineet Bharadwaj was appointed as collector and District Magistrate of Sundergarh replacing B S Poonia. Poonia has been transferred as Dhenkanal collector.

Similarly, 2005 batch IAS Anjan Kumar Manik working as Bargarh collector has been shifted as Kalahandi collector in place of Brunda D. Brunda has been transferred as the collector of Kandhamal district. Kandhamal collector Reghu G has been transferred to Kendrapara as a collector and Poma Tudu has been assigned as the collector of Nuapada district.

Surendra Kumar Meena has been appointed as the new Mayurbhanj collector in place of 2005 batch IAS Patil Rajesh Pravakar. Pravakar has been appointed as OSD, Odisha Skill Development Authority. Dhenkanal collector Roopa Roshan Sahoo has been assigned as Khurda collector replacing Niranjan Sahu. Sahu has been transferred as Director Industries with an additional charge of MD, OSIC.

Among senior OAS officers, the notification issued by the government said Khagendra Kumar Padhi, Additional Secretary in Steel and Mines Department has been transferred as Bargarh collector. Manish Agarwal PD, DRDA, Khurda has been transferred as Deputy Secretary in Home Department, while Sanjay Kumar V has been transferred as Deputy Secretary in the Water Resources Department. D N Padhi, Director Industries, has been appointed as Secretary of Odisha State Information Commission.
