Ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Krishna Ghati sector, Army retaliates

The Pakistani army at 6:20 A.M on Monday, initiated firing of small arms at the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Krishna Ghati sector. The Indian army retaliated to the violation of the ceasefire strongly and effectively.

The firing continued for about 45 minutes but no injuries or damages were reported.

Many incidents of violation of the ceasefire have been reported. On Saturday, there was a violation by the Pakistan army in the Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district along the LoC. On Sunday, there was another violation in the Naushera sector.

In all these incidents, the Indian army retaliated immediately and strongly.
