RPF woman constable helps passenger to deliver baby at Platform

Railway Police Force woman constable used her presence of mind in helping a lady to get her baby delivered at Thane platform in Mumbai. Head Constable Shobha Mote assigned for checking luggage at Thane platform suddenly realised that a pregnant lady in labour pain was about to break her water at 8 pm on Thursday.

Shobha rushed to the women and also managed few other women to help her deliver the baby. The women gave normal birth and the women along with her baby were safely sent to the hospital.

Timely action by the women head constable ensured safety and wellness of the mother and her newborn.
