People compelled Rahul to ask for votes: Modi

Date:

Krishnanagar: Hitting back at Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi’s statement wherein she said that BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has a habit of asking for votes, Modi said that her son, Rahul Gandhi, too was asking for votes. While addressing a rally in Krishnanagar city in West Bengal, Modi said people of Amethi district compelled Congress party vice-president to go door-to-door and ask for votes. Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday urged voters to come out in large numbers to cast their ballot as he battled to hold seat in the family borough of Amethi. For the first time in a decade, Gandhi visited his parliamentary constituency Amethi, on the voting day, urging supporters to vote in large numbers.
