Youth thrashed by Gurugram Police outside Sahara Mall on New Year’s Eve

Date:

Assigned with the task to look after the safety and security in Gurugram on the eve of New Year, Haryana Police thrashed and baton-charged few youths outside Sahara Mall on Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road for indulging in hooliganism.

The youth, who were not allowed to enter the mall to celebrate the arrival of New Year in a pub inside it due to the mall being overcrowded, were reluctant to accept what they were told and that led to the entire fiasco.

At least 250 cops were deployed at the Cyber City to ensure safety. Furthermore, MG Road was made a no-entry zone for cars.

Although there are reports of drunken men misbehaving with girls, police officials claimed no such incidents took place on the New Year’s night.
