Benchmark indices ended up on April 27, triggered by corporate earnings and global cues. The 30-share BSE Sensex ended up 0.74 per cent at 34,969.70. The broader Nifty 50 index settled at 10,692.70 up 0.70 per cent. Sensex hit an intra-day high of 35,065.

Reliance Industries (RIL) hit a record high of Rs 1,000 per share, up 2.5% on the BSE in intraday trade on the BSE, ahead of its fourth quarter results on April 27.
