Former Airtel chief, Sanjay Kapoor appointed to the board of Saudi Telecom

Sanjay Kapoor, the former CEO of Bharti Airtel, India and South Asia, has taken a place on the board of Saudi Telecom. He will be a non-executive member on the board.

His career in Airtel spans 15 years, including three years from 2010 to 2013, as the CEO.  He then joined Micromax Informatics as its Chairman in June 2014 and left the company a year later to pursue a career in entrepreneurship, consultancy, investing in & mentoring start-ups.
