AAP rally in Varanasi on March 23

Date:

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal’s moment of truth has arrived. He has always been wanting to prove a point. He has proved how vulnerable is fortress Sheila Dixit, who turned Delhi into a world class city. He proved how vulnerable Congress is. Now he wants to prove how vulnerable are our netas.

All along, he has been waiting for the announcement: now that BJP has announced it, Kejriwal will beard the lion in his den. So Varanasi will soon be the hot spot of the global media.

Kejriwal announced at a rally at Bangalore’s Freedom Park ground on Sunday, “I will go to Varanasi on March 23. We will have a rally in Varanasi. Whatever people of Varanasi will say that will be final. If people of Varanasi decide to give me this responsibility, I will accept it wholeheartedly

RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav said it would prove to be a “political graveyard” for Modi.

“What do you think of Varanasi. It’s a completely secular place. Narendra Modi is going to be defeated there.’’ He also questioned why Modi was “fleeing from his own state”.

Kejriwal may not damage Modi’s electoral prospects, but he will surely dent Modi’s prime ministerial ambition, with shocking revelations which Modi may find it difficult to answer. Kejriwal will, if he could, make the Gujarat Model a butt of all jokes.

Interesting times are coming – hilarious statements by politicians who lack common sense will inundate the media. Watch out!
