Man forgets 6 year old daughter in train in Mumbai

Date:

A 30-year-old father left his 6-year-old daughter in the Sainagar to Dadar Express train by mistake and got deboarded at Kalyan on Wednesday. On Thursday, the girl was found and rescued by the railway protection force.

Lipika was sleeping in the sleeper coach of the train and the officers spotted her there. Her father, Omprakash Haripal Yadhav called up the station manager and reported the loss of his daughter. They were travelling to Kalyan from Shirdi and as soon as the train arrived at the station, he and his wife got off the train with their luggage and forgot about their daughter.

After some bit of search, she was found fast asleep in the sleeper coach on the exact seat the father informed the station manager about. Within an hour of the incident, Yadhav arrived at the station and took his daughter.
