Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre Behl has been diagnosed with cancer. The actress issued an official statement on Twitter, informing that she has been diagnosed with “high-grade cancer that has metastasized.” In her post, Bendre also thanked her family and close friends “for providing the best support system one can ask for”.

Sonali Bendre also informed that she is currently “undergoing a course of treatment in New York.” Bendre ended her letter with a powerful and defiant statement saying “I am tackling the battle head-on, knowing I have the strength of my family and friends behind me.”
