Microsoft is devising a new Xbox console and are trying to work it out in two parts, one of which would be the traditional console and the other to be that operate on cloud format.
The traditional version would be compatible with locally innovated games and cloud format, also called Scarlett Cloud would have the facility of streaming games from a service of Microsoft called Azure.
The streaming Xbox is surprisingly expected to cost lesser than the traditional version and the specifications of the traditional Xbox are currently in the early developing phase.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo this year, Microsoft made an announcement about them working on the advanced and modern gaming consoles as one of the Xbox strategies.
The platform to stream games with the help of the cloud services by Microsoft would be made available across the world and would be compatible with any device. Both ‘Scarlett’ and traditional consoles are expected to be launched in the year 2020.
Sony already has an array of gaming versions such as PS2,3 and 4 and the online streaming service is already in use named as ‘Playstation Now Service’.
