Delhi waterlogged: Roads turn into rivers, traffic snarls greet commuters

Rain continued to disrupt life in Delhi and neighbouring areas well into Friday morning, turning roads in rivers. Office commuters were greeted with traffic snarls due water logging. The situation in Ghaziabad was so bad that the authorities shut the schools. Rains impacted traffic in areas including Ghazipur Murga Mandi and Modi Mill Flyover.

On Thursday night, water logging was reported from many areas of Delhi and NCR including Ghaziabad, Noida, Mayur Vihar, Modi Mill Flyover, Dwarka Link Road, and Minto Bridge underpass.

The temperature on Thursday went up to 28.7 degree Celsius and Friday morning temperature was recorded at 27 degree Celsius.
