While the life is Kerala has been disrupted due to deadly floods, people from different parts of the nation are shelling out their contribution to restore normalcy in the region, among those there is this eight-year-old girl in Viluppuram district of Tamil Nadu who has been an inspiration to the humanity as she has donated her piggy bank savings to help victims of Kerala floods.
Reportedly, Anupriya had been saving money for the last four years to buy a bicycle. She had been collecting five rupees every day, but as she came across the tragedy in Kerala, she decided to donate her savings to the flood-affected people.

“I wanted to buy a bicycle for my birthday in October. I had been saving money since four years. But I decided to donate my savings to Kerala people after I saw the floods on TV. I am happy to help the people. I can buy a cycle later,” Anupriya was quoted in a report.

She had saved Rs 8,246 while her father added some more money to donate a sum of Rs 9,000 to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
The heartwarming gesture of the eight-year-old was appreciated by Hero Cycles, as in a tweet, the company appreciated Anupriya for her generous act.
