Sanjay Nirupam tweeted a FAKE picture of PM Modi

In the wake of the morphed pictures all across social media, Congress Spokesperson, Sanjay Nirupam on Thursday tweeted a picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is seen eating food and there are multiple of dishes kept in front of him and the caption of picture read: “न खाऊँगा ना खाने दूँगा !”.

Nirupam took a jibe at Prime Minister’s famous speech about corruption during 2014 election campaign which means “Neither will I eat, nor will I let anyone eat” meaning, Neither will I take bribe or become corrupt, nor will I let anyone do the same.

FACT CHECK

In the above pictures, you can easily point out the difference as the picture on the left has huge amount of food whereas, the picture in the right is the original picture.

When we used Google reverse image search on the picture tweeted by Sanjay Nirupam, we got the real picture (Right).

When people on twitter called of this fake photo he further tweeted

“Dear friends, I know it’s photoshop. And I know Modiji doesn’t eat this much. Take it as a joke. Don’t be so serious all the time. वो खाते हैं पर इतना नहीं।”
