Prithvi Shaw became the youngest Indian cricketer to score a century on debut as he slammed a 99-ball ton on the first day of the first Test match against West Indies in Rajkot on Thursday.

The 18-year-old, who led India to victory in the  2018 ICC U-19 World Cup,  looked in brilliant form as he hit 15 boundaries to reach the 100. In the process, he became the fourth youngest batsman overall to score a century on debut after Mohammad Ashraful, Hamilton Masakadza and Saleem Malik.
