IMD predicts heavy rainfall in Kerala for next five days

Kerala is expected to receive heavy rainfall over the next five days and a warning has been issued in the districts by the Kerala Meteorological Department on Thursday.

According to reports, the Director of IMD said that under the influence of cyclone circulation over South-east Arabian Sea, a low-pressure area is expected to form near Lakshadweep within the next 24 hours. Due to this influence, Kerala is expected to receive heavy rainfall over the next five days.

Fishermen have also been asked to stay away from the sea and the southern part of Kerala can also be impacted by the rainfall.
