Shah Rukh Khan to play lead role in ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’

The astronaut Rakesh Sharma biopic, originally titled Salute has been changed to ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ produced by Roy Kapur Films. Directed by Mahesh Mathai, the film will star Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role, according to confirmed reports.

Based on the reports, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as Rakesh Sharma, however, the release date of the biopic has not yet been announced, however, speculations are that it will be released in February next year.

According to reports, Bhumi Pednekar, the actor seen in the film ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ will be seen in the lead role in this film opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

The film has been scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Although the crew of the film has not revealed too many details about it, it is probably to be one of the most awaited films of the year.
