The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Sunday has withdrawn security cover of five Hurriyat leaders, including that of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
Besides Mirwaiz, the security cover for Abdul Gani Bhat, Bilal Lone, Hashim Qureshi and Shabir Shah has been withdrawn, they said.

According to the order, all security and vehicles provided to the separatists will stand withdrawn by Sunday evening. No security forces or cover will be provided, under any pretext, to them or any other separatists, according to PTI.
The decision came in the wake of ghastly Pulwama terror attack that martyred 40 CRPF jawaans on Jammu-Srinagar highway on February 14. Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into the bus of a 70 vehicle convoy.
