Guess which airport was voted the best in India?

While India hosts some luxury and lavish airports, one such airport has the best the rest to claim the top spot. New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport was voted India’s best airport, according to the Skytrax World Airport Awards.

However, the airport still ranks 59th in the global tally which means that we still have a long way to go. Other Indian airports to take the spot in the list were Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (the country’s second-best ranked 64th globally), along with those from Hyderabad and Bengaluru at 66 and 69 respectively.

Singapore’s Changi Airport nabbed first place for the 7th time in a row, with its rooftop swimming pool, 24-hour movie theatre and one-of-a-kind Jewel Changi terminal which features the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.

Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) came in second place and is also named as the World’s Best Domestic Airport and the World’s Cleanest Airport.
