Wife goes on 12km bike with husband’s body in Hyderabad

In a shocking incident in Hyderabad, a young woman traveled approx 12 km with her husband’s dead body on a bike, allegedly after she killed him.

Pravallika Mendem, 25, was caught red-handed over the weekend.

The police stated that she murdered her husband allegedly by hitting his head against a wall and beating him in the genitals, along with her 16-year-old nephew after which they were carrying his body on a bike hired from a neighbour at 11:30 pm on Saturday.

Two constables Nageswara Rao and Mahender attempted to stop the two-wheeler as they noticed three people on one bike, and the head of her husband was leaning into the shoulders of the nephew and his feet were drawing on the ground.

The duo didn’t stop the bike after which the police chased them for 2 km and caught them.

The woman and her nephew initially alleged that the man, Pullaiah Mendem was found dead by them on the roadside after he moved out for drinking. Upon questioning, they reportedly admitted that they have killed him.

The woman and her husband had migrated to Hyderabad a few weeks ago after supposedly being asked to leave the village in Kodada, Nalgonda as the woman allegedly having an extra-marital affair with her nephew, who is just 16 years of age.
