For years India has been plagued by an issue that has created a communal divide on the issue of Ram Temple and Babri Masjid.
Chief Justice of India, Jagdish Singh Khehar, needs to be commended for offering to mediate on an issue that is emotive and is linked to the cultural and religious sensitivities. Negotiation is a way out and both sides should sit and resolve the issue.

Taking care of poor and providing employment, this issue should be best settled by collective wisdom in light of the ground reality. The hardliners on both sides should be shunned and a progressive solution must be spearheaded by the court and the government then must ensure a speedy implementation so this becomes a great example of India that values unity in diversity.
