Rahul Gandhi is now a Guinness World Record holder for losing most number of elections

Finally, Rahul Gandhi, a name in Indian Politics who always end up on the receiving end of the trolls on social media, has found some fame as he is the latest inclusion to the famous “Guinness World Records”, all thanks to an engineering student from Madhya Pradesh.

The Congress Party has now lost a World Record  27 elections in the past five years under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, but as is the tradition within the party, the blame is always put on anything and everything that is not “Rahul Baba”.

But this time around Rahul might not be able to deny his due credit as the application has been accepted by Guinness Committee in their London HQ.

Earlier on March 21, Vishal Diwan, an engineering student from Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh had written to the Guinness Book of World Records, paid the enrollment fee and received acceptance of the same. Little did he knew that the committee will actually accept the application.

The record was earlier held by Dr. K Padmarajan, who has lost 171 elections in his lifetime.
