While Shahrukh Khan bowled everyone out with his TED Talk in Vancouver a few days back and was praised for his eloquence and stage presence, it was not an impromptu speech.
While no one will easily forget, “Humanity is like an ageing star…” quote in a hurry and people are still marveling at his peddler of dreams and love session, Shahrukh it seems, spent days and even nights preparing for the effect that was there for all to see.

His media manager, Pooja Dadlani shared a cute video on Twitter that shows the Badshah preparing day and night to get the speech right.
Her Tweet simply says, “Check out this humorous take of @iamsrk ‘s TED Talk… even watching him prep is a delight!”
The video is anything but simple though and keeps you in splits for the entire duration.
As expected, it got millions of views, likes and gushing comments within hours of being posted. The video is hilarious and shows Khan working on the speech over breakfast, in a dimly-lit den and in bed and not looking smart at all – unlike his stage presence at Vancouver.

Shahrukh too shared the video from his handle saying, “U have made my practice sessions public!!! Now everyone will know I am not smart.”

Well, knowing Shahrukh and his team and by the quality of the video, it was a very smart move and just in time when the actual speech was receding from the public’s mind.
Clearly Shahrukh and team don’t believe in Warhol’s “15 minutes of fame” adage.

And if you like it too much, the actor, producer, activist (according to his TED bio) will soon be hosting, ‘TED’s brand-new TV series in Hindi for Star Plus, titled, TED Talks India: Nayi Soch’ or new thinking.
This and shenanigans like these should keep the public anticipating for the show that is to start in the ‘fall’ or sometime in October.
