Copper and brass recovers on fresh demand

Mumbai, Sep 13 (PTI) Copper and brass prices recoveredat the non-ferrous market here today due to stockists buyingamidst fresh demand from industrial users. While, tin and zinc dropped further owing to poorofftake from alloy industries. Copper utensils regains by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 327 fromMonday’s close Rs 324. Copper sheet cuttings and brass utensils scrap edgedup by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 341 and 274 as compared Rs 339 and 272yesterday. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copperarmiture, copper wire bar and brass sheet cuttings inched upby a Re per kg each to Rs 361, RS 356, Rs 347, Rs 389 andRs 280 respectively. However, tin declined by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,420 asagainst Rs 1,425 yesterday and zinc edged down by Rs 2 perkg to Rs 196 from Rs 198 previously. PTIBPDABI
