Gurugram was ranked with better quality of life than Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur

In everyone’s surprise, Gurugram was ranked with the better quality of life than Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur. In the latest quality of life index report by data provider Numbeo, Gurugram stood at 141 ahead of Hong Kong (145), Kuala Lumpur (173) and Singapore (155), scoring high on purchasing power and health care.

The city of Karnataka, Mangalore was ranked 48th amongst the list of global cities ahead of cities like Hamburg, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Madrid, Prague, New York, and Tokyo. These rankings are given on certain parameters including purchasing power, safety, cost of living, property price-to-income ratio, traffic commute time, pollution and climate.

Pune also fared well on purchasing power, health care and safety indicators.

Mangalore lead, leaving behind Pune and Hyderabad.  Between Chennai and Bangalore, Bangalore stood better attributable to the city’s climate and purchasing power. Gurgaon beat neighbouring Delhi and Noida in life quality as well.
