Police officer Sanjiv Tyagi’s father shot dead in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 11: Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Sanjiv Tyagi’s father Ishwar Tyagi was shot dead in the Kavi Nagar area of Ghaziabad on Thursday morning.

According to reports, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Ghaziabad Police has launched a probe into the matter.

Police suspect that family disputes could be a reason behind Tyagi’s father’s death.

Tyagi is posted in Lucknow as Superintendent of Police (SP) in (corporate cell) while his father, 65, was residing at Sector-2 in upscale Raj Nagar locality.
