Two persons were arrested in Shamli district while they were trying to escape after allegedly killing a farmer and looting his tractor in Haryana, police official said on Thursday.
The accused Sachin and Ravi Kumar were escaping after killing a farmer in Karnal in Haryana last night when they were nabbed by the UP police at Ahmadghar police out-post, SP Vijay Bhushan said.
They were arrested and the looted Tractor was recovered from their possession by Shamli police, he said.
Haryana police have been informed and the duo will be handed over to them after legal formalities, Bhushan said.
