Los Angeles: Suki Waterhouse has confirmed that she and Robert Pattinson are yet to tie the knot, despite past speculation that the couple had secretly married. The singer and actor also shared details about their potential wedding plans, saying they would prefer a grand celebration.
“It would either be all or nothing,” Waterhouse told the Sunday Times in an interview published on November 1. “If we were going to go for it we’d have a massive party, blow it out.”
The ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ star, who began dating Pattinson in 2018 and became engaged to him in 2023, added that a wedding would not take place until next year, pointing to their busy schedules and lack of a consistent home base.
Since welcoming their baby girl in March 2024, Waterhouse, 34, and Pattinson, 40, have lived in several places around the world, including London, New York and Los Angeles.
“Our life since having our daughter, which is strange and backwards, hasn’t been anywhere,” Waterhouse shared. “We’ve been in rentals and moving every couple of months and we just haven’t been home.”
“It’s been wherever we can base ourselves,” she added, “and wherever we can stay together as a family.”
Despite their unconventional family life due to their careers, Waterhouse expressed gratitude for the relationship she has built with the ‘Twilight’ actor.
“It is almost a decade [of our relationship] and that is a beautiful thing,” she explained. “It’s a thing that I go, I can’t believe that I have this in my life and I can’t believe that I’m so happy. And maybe I was surprised because before I had only ever gone out with someone for two years and if it was two years it would have been a disaster at the end.”
Although Waterhouse and Pattinson keep most details of their personal lives private, including their daughter’s name, she shared an update on their journey as parents.
“I’m two and a half years into motherhood now,” she said. “I feel very confident that we’re great parents and juggling a slightly abnormal life, but I feel good about how we’re doing it and we are both just so connected to her. She’s such a wonderful, happy girl.”
