Bollywood takes a tough stand against terrorism

Date:

It was a mass massacre in Assam’s Sonitpur, Kokrajhar, Udalguri and Chirang district on Tuesday as National Democratic Front of Boroland (Songbijit) militants gunned down 78 innocent adivasis, including 18 children and 21 women.

Indefinite curfew has been imposed and Army troops have been deployed in affected areas to assist the civil administration and Assam Police.

Around 2,500 people have fled their homes and are staying in relief camps after the spate of attacks, officials said.

Moved by the incident, tweets poured in from B-Town who condemned the attack and urged for better measures to tackle terrorism.
