New Delhi: Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on Sunday received an invitation for the Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22 in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony marks the culmination of a series of elaborate rituals starting from January 16, leading up to the installation of the Ram Lalla idol in the grand temple.
Over 7,000 people are on the invitee list of the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, industrialists and more.
Actors Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, who played the roles of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the famous TV serial ‘Ramayan’, have also been invited to the event.
All distinguished guests invited for the “pran pratishtha”, or the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol on January 22 will be given special gifts on the occasion, according to the temple trust.
