Ranbir plans ‘Khandan’ on big screen

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor, who had earlier talked about making a short film on the life of his grandfather and legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor, now plans to make a film with the three Khans.

The actor denied plans of making a short film on his late grandfather saying, “A short film on my grandfather would be difficult because his life was such that it would require 500 hours in a film.”

The actor however added, “What I would like to do is bring Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan on the same sofa and talk to them about their work and their success. I think that would be very interesting. It’s the kind of thing that generations will cherish.”

“The kind of success, fans and the work they have done, just to see them together will be something, which generations and generations will cherish. So if I get a chance to make a short film, it will be with them,” he added.

Ranbir has returned to India after shooting for the first schedule of Tamasha in Corsica. He will soon start shooting for the next schedule of Jagga Jasoos.

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old actor rubbishes the report of him being in relationship with Kartrina Kaif. The actor said that his co-star Katrina Kaif is his “old friend” and also scotched reports of his marriage with her anytime soon.

Reacting to reports that he and Katrina may tie a knot in 2015, Ranbir said, “I am not thinking of marriage…I am married to films. I am not getting married this year or next year.”

Ranbir also rubbished reports that he met Katrina’s mother in London recently. “I have known Katrina for many years now. She is an old friend. It’s wrong (rumour of him meeting Katrina’s mother),” he added.

It became apparent that Ranbir and Katrina are in a relationship after photographs showing them together holidaying at a beach in Ibzia, Spain, went viral last year. However, both of them never come on record saying they are in any relationship.
