5 docs issued show cause notice for being absent from duty

Amethi (UP), Aug 20 (PTI) Five doctors including the ChiefMedical Officer of Amethi and three paramedical staff weretoday issued show cause notices for being absent from duty. District Magistrate Chandra Kant Pandey conducted asurprise checking of the CMO’s office at Gauriganj duringwhich he found them absent. "All the eight absentees were issued notices to explaintheir absence from their offices while being on duty," saidPandey. "Also their one day’s salary will be deducted and if theyrepeat the offence, tough action will be taken against them,"he added. Yesterday, in a similiar action, 250 officials andemployees of different departments including hospitals,schools and forest office were issued show cause notices forthe same offence. "The campaign to check the offices will continue so thateverything remains in order. It is necessary to execute thegovernment projects for the needy persons," said Pandey. PTICORR CHT ZMNCHT
