In what appears to be another case of beef lynching like Dadri, a man was lynched by a an angry mob over alleged rumours of him smuggling cattle.
According to reports, the police suspect Bajrang Dal’s involvement in the lynching. They have registered an FIR and are investigating the matter.
Noman, from Uttar Pradesh, was found critically injured inside his truck by the police. He was rushed to the hospital immediately but was declared brought dead.
The incident comes about three weeks after a 50 year old Akhlaq was lynched to death over rumours of eating and storing beef. The forensic reports later however confirmed that the meat stored in his refrigerator was mutton and not beef.
His death led to a massive outrage across the country.
