Brand of Coimbatore Ambassador awards presented

Coimbatore, Aug 25 (PTI): The iconic brand of CoimbatoreAward has been given to ELGI Equipments. The presentation ceremony of the 3rd edition of the BrandCoimbatore- Ambassador Awards, organised by the Indian Chamberof Commerce and Industry Coimbatore and The Advertising Club,Coimbatore in association with PSG Institutions was held at afunction here last night. The iconic Brand of Coimbatore Award, given to ElgiEquipments was received by its managing director, JayaramVaradaraj, an Advertising Club release said today. The Brand Coimbatore Ambassador Award was bagged bySree Annapoorna Sree Gowrishankar Hotels, which was receivedby its Chairman K Ramaswamy. The Emerging Brand Award was given to Jewel Onerepresented by K Srinivasan, Managing Director. Srinivasan K Swamy, Chairman and Managing Director,RK Swamy BBDO Private Ltd. gave away the awards. The event was being organised to give a boost tobranding activity in the region, Chamber president DNandakumar said in the release.
