Cong will GST support; Impact on Goa to be seen: Rane

Panaji, Aug 26 (PTI) Leader of Opposition Pratapsinh Ranehas said Congress will support ratification of GST bill in GoaAssembly but it will also have to consider the impact of newtax regime on the state. "Congress has supported GST bill in Parliament. We willalso help passage of ratification in Goa LegislativeAssembly," Rane told reporters yesterday. "But we will have to see what would be the impact of newtax regime on Goa," he said. The former chief minister said the state will have to seehow much share it will gain from the central taxes once theGoods and Service Tax (GST) is implemented.
