Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari announced on Sunday a new highway will be constructed connecting Delhi and Jaipur, such that it will reduce the time to travel to two hours.
The estimated cost of the project starting from January 2017 is Rs. 16,000 crores and the distance will be 270 kms. Mr Gadkari said that land acquisition for this new highway will begin soon and suggested development along both sides of this highway to reduce the cost.
