Ease Of Justice As Important As Ease Of Living, Ease Of Business: PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday talked about the ease of justice, equating it to equally important as ease of doing business and ease of living.

PM Modi, while addressing the inaugural session of the First All India District Legal Services Authorities, added that during the Azadi ka Amrit Kaal, it is time for the country to make resolutions that will take the country to new heights in the next 25 years.

He further added, “Ease of justice is equally important as ease of doing business and the ease of living in this Amrit Yatra of the country.”

Chief Justice NV Ramana was also present at the event. PM Modi further added that “As important as access to the judicial system is for any society, justice delivery is equally important. The judicial infrastructure also has an important contribution to this. In the last eight years work has been done at a fast pace to strengthen the judicial infrastructure of the country.”

Justices Uday U Lalit and DY Chandrachud, and law minister Kiren Rijiju were among others present at the event.

The Prime Minister further talked about the e-Courts that will start functioning in the countries. PM Modi further lauded the 24 hours court running for crimes against traffic violations.
