BJP MLA from Naroda, Balram Thawani, who was caught on camera brutally thrashing and kicking woman NCP leader Neetu Tejwani has now apologized to her, according to news agency ANI.
Both Thawani and Tejwani on Monday made a joint appearance before the media and said they had amicably resolved their differences. “She’s like my sister, I have apologized to her for what happened yesterday. We have cleared out the misunderstandings between us. I have promised to help her if she ever needs any help,” Thawani was quoted as saying by ANI.

Earlier Tejwani had said, “I had gone to meet BJP MLA Balram Thawani over a local issue but even before hearing me he slapped me, when I fell down he started to kick me. His people also beat up my husband. I ask Modi ji, how are women safe under the BJP rule?”
Balram Thawani has since apologised for the incident and has claimed that it was ‘not intentional.’

He had said, “I got swayed by emotions, I accept the mistake, it was not intentional. I have been in politics for last 22 years,such thing has never happened before. I will say sorry to her.”

Meanwhile, the BJP issued a show-cause notice to Balram Thawani.
