Haryana govt to set up university in Gurgaon

Chandigarh, Aug 29 (PTI) Haryana government willset up a university in Gurgaon, Minister for Education RamBilas Sharma informed the Assembly today. Replying to a question in the ongoing monsoon session ofthe Assembly, he said the work for the university willcommence within the current financial year. Shamrma said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar hadannounced at a public meeting in Kakrola village in Aprilthat a university would be set up. The Kakrola panchayat has passed a resolution to transferland, measuring 398 kanal and three marlas, for theuniversity. He also assured the House that engineering and B.Edcolleges affiliated to Kurukshetra University would not beshifted to any other university. PTI AKA AQS SMNAQS
